Krystal Marie, born November 24, 1981 is an American political commentator. She was previously a political hopeful as a host from the US at MSNBC as well as a regular contributor to The Huffington Post, former co-host and host of The Hill's Rising together with Saagarenjeti. Enjeti and Ball have announced in the month of May that they would quit the show in order to begin their own venture, Breaking Points with Krystal and Saagar. Ball co-hosts the podcast Krystal Kyle & Friends with Kyle Kulinski. She has also appeared as a guest on networks such as CNN, CNBC, Fox News and programs including Real Time with Bill Maher. Ball was married to Jonathan Dariyanani as of 2020. Ball attributes her passion for politics to the reality that she became a mother during the 2008 primary elections, and also was able to watch the US presidential elections while in Jordan. She was able to see the effect it had on people in her country and was moved to see the international impact of US politics. She was a Senior fellow of the New Leaders Council. Ball was the Democratic Party's candidate for Congress in Virginia’s 1st congressional District in 2010. She lost to Rob Wittman, the Republican incumbent. She co-hosted the MSNBC show The Cycle from June 2012 to July 2015. In May 2017, she launched the People's House Project, a political action committee working for Democratic causes.
